I have been published in prominent magazines with wide readerships. These include general audience magazines such as New Scientist, Science, Astronomy Now, Sky at Night and US magazine Stardate. I also frequently write for magazines aimed at
professional scientist, such as Chemistry & Industry and Marine Scientist.

For two and a half years I wrote a column about extreme life for online magazine BBC Earth. One article about a creepy cave cut off from the outside world trended number 1 on reddit and received over 2000 comments. Another article on diseases trapped in permafrost went viral and received over a million views in 3 days.
